Who We Are

Who We Are

Tim Lee
&
William (Jack) Paige

For years I have written under the nom de plume (pen name) of William (Jack) Paige. I did this for a variety of reasons most political but mostly to get my message out to the American farmer. As a small business man it became apparent that you could not shake the boat to much or you will get thrown overboard. Since I am partial to eating and paying my bills I developed Jack who could call it like it is and not have to fight to keep the doors open.

I started Ag-Underground as a vehicle to influence agricultural fuels and associated chemicals.
After years of working in agricultural research it has become apparent that we have some how lost our way. With a strong background as a producer and researcher, I am in a unique position to comment and bring into the light of reality much of what is accepted as status quo for agriculture. I have no axe to grind necessarily but much of what I see today in the political arena and research arena will not allow me to remain silent while hoping for the best.
My name is Jack Paige, and I have been active in the American agricultural community for years. As time passes, I am becoming more and more disillusioned with some of the directions the Ag community is being forced to take. Whether in the guise of "assistance" from the government, "partnerships with multi-national corporations or "promotion" by organizations that are supposed to protect Ag’s best interests, the individual American farmer is being used as a patsy to further the interests of "big business" and it’s high time someone spoke up.

For this reason, I have formed "AgUnderground of America". It is my sincerest hope that by sharing new information and discrediting misinformation already in mainstream media, we can begin the process of strengthening our position in the National Economy and remove the stigma of being "ag-oriented".
An old adage says, "You are only as good as the information you are given." In many ways, we are being played as fools, because the information we are given by the media and our own organizations is skewed, inaccurate or blatant lies. It’s time we start to question what is presented to us as fact. It’s time we start holding accountable those who profess to be looking out for us, yet operate secretly against our best interests. It’s time we start to do for ourselves- because nobody is going to do it for us.

Our sole base of operations will be on the Internet. In the coming weeks, our website - http://www.agunderground.org/ - will be coming online, allowing for worldwide access to information that is truly relevant to the plight of the American farmer in today’s world. I invite you to join us, or at least see what we’re all about. There are no fees or dues to join- the only requirements are an open mind and a desire to exchange information. You can contact me at JackPaige@AgUnderground.org
I have included my first editorial at the end of this post, so that you might better understand the types of issues we will be covering in the future. I hope it will shock and outrage you as much as it did me when I first discovered the truth it contains. I took great care to ensure the information is accurate and the sources I consulted when writing it were reliable. However, as with all future articles, I encourage you investigate the information it contains and validate it for yourself. Comments, questions and additions are welcome and can be submitted via mailto:JackPaige@AgUnderground.org.
Look for us in the coming months.Keep asking questions,
Jack Paige
